'Twas the night before departure
when all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse (or a pampered duck-toller)
the suitcases were packed by the doorway with care
in the hopes that BA 84 would still be there (and not cancelled by cold weather in London)
The family was all nestled snug in their beds
While visions of jellebies and gulab jamons danced in their heads (except for Mum's, which was worried about the flight)
fingers crossed, here we go!!!
